The 845R04 SR™ Breakaway Shower Curtain System is an extremely versatile system which allows curtains to release when excessively loaded with weight. At the core of this system is a series of velcro tabs which slide within a channel of the aluminum track that is mounted to either the ceiling or. The curtain fabric has the opposing/meshing strip of Velcro to its top edge. The Velcro provides enough adhesion to reliably support the weight of the curtain, however when additional weight is added, the Velcro surfaces decouple from one another (this same breakaway system is used with our window and partition curtains.
Available shower curtain fabric materials include both vinyl and polyester fabrics, and both of the materials are available in a range of colors. Additional options include a clear bottom vinyl panels (so feet and ankles are visible) and a top nylon mesh (in various colors) to allow greater ventilation. All breakaway shower curtains are custom made to ensure that the dimensions of the track and curtain are specifically size for each location, and to ensure that preferred colors and other options are utilized.
